Synopsis

<div>Honjou Kaede is invited by her friend Shiramine Risa to play a virtual reality MMO game with her. While Kaede doesn't dislike games, what she really, truly dislikes is being in pain. She creates a character named Maple, and decides to put all her points in VIT to minimize pain. As a result, she moves slowly, can't use magic, and even a rabbit can get the best of her. But as it turns out, she acquires a skill known as "Absolute Defense" as a result of her pumping points into VIT, as well as a "Counter Skill" that works against special moves. Now, with her ability to nullify all damage, she goes on adventures.</div><div>เรื่องนี้เป็นเรื่องราวของ Honjou Kaede ที่ถูกเพื่อนชวนให้มาเล่นเกม VRMMO ที่ชื่อ NewWorld Online และเธอก็ได้ตั้งชื่อตัวละครของตัวเองว่า Maple แต่ด้วยความที่เธอเป็นนักเล่มเกมมือใหม่และกลัวเจ็บ เธอก็เลยเลือกโล่ขนาดใหญ่ที่ไม่มีใครเขาใช้กัน และยังอัพสเตตัสแค่พลังป้องกันอย่างเดียวด้วย ตัวเธอที่มีแค่พลังป้องกันก็เลยเริ่มต้นชีวิตการเล่มเกมอย่างยากลำบาก<br>เมื่อเลเวลอัพเธอก็เพิ่มแค่พลังป้องกันเพียงอย่างเดียว และเมื่อสเตตัสของเธอมารวมกับสกิลที่เธอได้มาโดยบังเอิญ ก็ทำให้เธอมีพลังป้องกันที่ไร้พ่าย จนผู้เล่นคนอื่นๆ ต้องตกตะลึง<br></div>
