Synopsis
Twenty years ago, there was a long bloody battle in the Central Plains of Wulin. Eventually there were only eight people left. Since then, the "Eight Great Masters" have become the Taishan Beidou of the whole Central Plains Wulin. Peace between rivers and lakes has lasted for 20 years. One of the eight great masters, the great warrior, Xue Lishi has returned to the countryside but died in the field. Then, another master of the eight masters, Zhao Feng, died at home. The six door was ordered to investigate the case. And the six door is always one of the eight masters. Duan Xiaofeng, Ye Wuji's apprentice, boldly infers that both of them died under his own fame stunts. In the rivers and lakes, there emerged a master who, like the eldest grandson, could "treat others in the same way". Duan Xiaofeng, a young and vigorous man, decided to go to Yangzhou alone to investigate the case. On his way to Yangzhou, he met Zhao Chengfeng's Queen Fei Yan, and had a mutual affection with Sun Ying, the clerk of Xiaoxiang Pavilion. Eight great masters were murdered one after another.
